Peter Flood
Chief Executive - FIDM


Pete is an experienced general manager and marketer who has managed campaigns for some of the world's largest companies.

He began his career in the pub & restaurant industry working in Ops and Marketing with Allied Breweries, Mitchells & Butlers, GrandMet Chef & Brewer and S&N Retail. After becoming Marketing Controller at Chef & Brewer's 2100 strong pub & restaurant chain in '93, Pete then joined Dudley Jenkins Group plc (DJ's) a year later. At DJ's Pete was Managing Director of both Market Location and Consumer Surveys, the industry leading business and consumer database marketing arms of the parent company. Whilst MD of DJ's data and insights companies, Pete also held a position on the main board managing the direction of the group following its sale to Wegener DM for £86 million in 2000.

Pete founded S2 in 2001 with a view to creating a fully integrated data, digital, design & direct agency.

Pete enjoys a few beers, the gym, cycling,
supporting Everton & skiing with family & friends.

David Spurgeon
Head of Creative Design


Dave has over 8 years experience producing striking creative campaigns across print and digital, for clients ranging from SME's to Blue Chip companies across many industry sectors.

With a keen eye for commercial design and natural creative flair, Dave's key role is to work directly with the client to provide a relevant and targeted graphic solution to any brief for both online and offline materials such as website, e-marketing, brochures, DM and exhibition material.

In his spare time he enjoys photography, which he often incorporates with work, playing football regularly and watching and supporting Birmingham City. As a Dad of lively toddler, Dave loves spending quality time with his young family.

Carolyn Baines
Data & Insights Director


Carolyn is a senior business executive with considerable experience in data insight led business intelligence solutions including marketing management and channel strategy for companies such as SAS Software, Oracle Corporation and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). Her recent work with SME companies has focused on data-led marketing, to achieve deep understanding of customer/prospect behaviours and to streamline marketing processes to achieve optimal return from campaigns.

Outside work I can be found underwater,
by the side of a cold muddy football
pitch or driving around the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside in a
restored 1976 Triumph Spitfire.
Activities supported by a love of
Scuba diving and being an
active supporter of my sons'
football team.

Tanya Jukes
Finance Director


Tanya is qualified with the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians. She trained as an accountant in practice, working for Jerrom Associates chartered accountants in Solihull for about 7 years. Tanya worked to audit senior level then transferred to industry where she became a financial controller for several companies. Tanya then decided to start her own business, as a self employed book keeper working with small to medium sized businesses in Solihull and Warwickshire area.

As a new mum, Tanya enjoys spending time with her family and friends, particularly going for walks in the great outdoors. She is also partial to a bit of retail therapy and enjoys weekend shopping trip. Tanya likes cricket & football, watching not playing that is!

Ian Saunders
Commercial Director


With a career in Direct Marketing stretching back 17 years, Ian held senior sales roles at Yellow Pages and Market Location before heading up sales of business data products and services at Acxiom.

In recent years, Ian held the position of Field Sales Leader for marketing solutions at Dun and Bradstreet. He is responsible for developing tactical sales activity for S2's Data & Insights and Design & Integrated divisions, utilising his expertise in the industry.

Outside work Ian can be found tending his vegetable garden, playing drums (well) guitar (badly) and cooking for family and friends.

Clare Kiteley
Client Services Director


Clare read Geography & Sports Sciences at Brunel University receiving 2:1 BSC Joint Honours degree, later followed by her advanced Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification.

After gaining 5 years account management experience both client & agency side within automotive and corporate hospitality sectors, Clare moved to S2. Clare heads up S2's integrated marketing arm and also has a broader remit across our business as Client Services Director. Clare enjoys the cut and thrust of agency life, being driven by the challenges & demands that ensure all client work is delivered successfully and on time.

When not busy working for S2, Clare enjoys socialising (mainly eating and drinking), is a keen sports woman, playing netball three times a week and enjoys skiing and, when permitted, likes to travel.
