Account Manager/Director – Midlands Marketing Agency

The Company:
Award winning Serendipity 2, (S2), is a fully integrated, data, digital, design and direct agency operating across both B2B and B2C environments. Our services include brand strategy, creative and design, website development, digital and e-marketing, data & insights, database hosting and management and marketing analysis tools. Working with major clients including Coca Cola, Lambretta, GSK, Avon Insurance , WHSmiths and National Gallery.

The Position:
Maternity cover for 8 months with a possibility of becoming a permanent position.
Marketing account manager/director working within our design & digital department. This role will be responsible for providing account management for our design and digital clients and acting as a liaison with the studio. The role will also be responsible for creating new business.

Skills & Experience Required:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and experienced Account Manager/Director who must have at least 5 years experience in an agency environment and a proven track record in account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director
  • Day to day management, planning and co-ordination of client projects
  • Responsible for following up enquiries and sales leads
  • Responsible for quoting, invoicing and proposal writing
  • Required to attend client and prospect meetings and present at pitches
  • Working closely with the design and digital teams and managing output of accounts
  • Supervising a team of 4
  • Proactive new business development

Salary £25-£35,000 (dependent on level of experience) + uncapped commission scheme
