S2 has created successful brand identities in a wide variety of B2B & B2C industry sectors; in particular in the FMCG drinks, food, leisure, hospitality, sport, retail, manufacturing and professional services sectors.
Rebranding a business can be a big step; it can involve anything from a small logo tweak to a complete overhaul of the company’s colour palette, image guidelines and tone of voice. We hear lots of different reasons why our clients want to rebrand their business but here are some of the most common ones.
We are expanding and want to take our company’s brand image to the next level
As a company expands, it will pick up new customers along the way. These new customer bases (e.g. overseas markets or online markets) may bear little or no resemblance to the company’s original target market. Therefore, as a company grows, it needs to address its branding and ensure that it still connects and is relevant to its new customers.
We want to modernise our image
Brands need to change with the times. It is important that brands fit in with modern trends. If a company’s website, fonts and colour palette look old or dated, it may be time to revisit the branding and move it more in line with the Twenty Tens.
We are moving location
As companies grow, they are likely to move their office location. This means that the contact details on any marketing collateral needs to be updated. It is an opportune time to re-brand the business because re-branding and moving offices are two of the only times when all of a company’s marketing collateral needs to be re-designed and re-printed.
To move on from a negative event
Some companies need to refresh their image after a negative event, e.g. BP’s rebrand this year.
